Jean-Louis Van Houwe

Jean-Louis has more than 25 years of experience in fintech and ICT, as an entrepreneur and as a leader of Belgium's innovation ecosystem. In 2011 he founded Monizze, a provider of employee benefits such as meal vouchers, and grew it as CEO until its acquisition by Groupe Up in 2015.

Since then he has taken on a central role in the sector. He has chaired Fintech Belgium since 2016 and My Innovation Center Brussels since 2020, the same year he founded Izify. In 2021 he co-founded GOVRN.

He is a civil engineer in electronics (ULB) and holds an MSc in Information Systems Engineering from UMIST in Manchester, an MSc in Economics from EMLYON and an Executive Master in General Management from the Solvay Brussels School. He brings TCD Capital a builder's understanding of technology businesses from founding to exit.
