Jean-Marc Legrand

Jean-Marc brings more than two decades of banking experience across Europe and Asia. He began his career in 1992 in corporate and investment banking with Bank Brussels Lambert, working in Brussels, London and Tokyo, before joining ING Barings in Tokyo. These years gave him first-hand exposure to international capital markets, cross-border transactions and very different business cultures.

In 2002 he moved into private banking, leading ING's activities in Eastern Belgium and Brussels before heading UBS in Belgium until 2012. Throughout his career he has focused on developing businesses and redefining strategy as markets and stakeholder expectations change, and he has managed small and large teams across many cultural settings.

Jean-Marc holds a law degree from UCLouvain and further qualifications in finance, tax and business management, and he sits on the boards of several companies. At TCD Capital, he combines a banker's rigour with an entrepreneur's view of growth.
