On Friday, October 13th, 2023, the Board of Directors of TCD Capital Fund II S.A./N.V. gathered for its quarterly meeting.
The Board of Directors is composed of representatives of the General Partner (“GP”) and, as to representatives of the investors, is supported by MM Speeckaert and Florin, both respected veterans of the private equity industry, respectively at Sofina for Marc Speeckaert, and Rothschild & Co, Ardian and ADIA for Christophe Florin.
Having handled the usual agenda and notably confirmed the “hard closing” of Fund II, the Board has co-opted Colette Plasman as an observer whose candidacy for the function of director will be presented at the annual general meeting. She will further strengthen the representation of the investors.
Colette Plasman is a seasoned executive, specialised in strategic governance matters.
Amongst other mandates, Colette is an academic director, lecturer and member of the scientific committee at the Solvay Business School (ULB), as well as having been a magistrate at the enterprise court of Brussels.
Furthermore, Mr. Marc Speeckaert has been proposed and has accepted the chair of the Board of Directors of TCD Capital Fund II.
The composition of the Board is therefore now strengthened to 3 representatives of the investors with strong skills in governance and Private Equity developments.
Representing the GP are Geoffroy Boonen, non-executive chairman of TCD Capital, Jean-Marc Legrand, managing partner and Nicolas Roberti de Winghe, partner.
